Frequently asked questions
- Why are small images not enlarged?
- Because “do not enlarge” is on. Upscaling adds no detail, it only interpolates pixels and the result looks soft. Turn it off if you genuinely need the larger size.
- What is the difference between “inside” and “fill and crop”?
- “Inside” fits the whole image within the measurements you give, so the result may be smaller on one side. “Fill and crop” covers the whole rectangle and trims the overflow from the sides.
- Will it look blurry?
- Scaling uses the browser’s high-quality filter, which is good at shrinking. For very aggressive reductions, going in two passes sometimes keeps more bite.
